Governance Flow

Governance Flow is a read-only map of how your AI governance pieces connect: use cases, models, vendors, their risks, and the frameworks that apply.

It is a map, not a place to edit records. Every box and line comes from data you already manage. Click a box to open that record and change it there.

Open it from the green button at the bottom-right of any page. Hover to see Governance Flow, then click. The button hides while you are already on the map.

What it answers

  • Which models power this use case, and which vendors supply them?
  • What risks does this model or vendor carry?
  • Which frameworks apply, and where are the gaps?

What the boxes mean

BoxWhat it isOpens
Use caseAn AI projectThat use case
ModelA registered modelThat model
VendorA supplierVendor Management
RiskA risk register entryRisk Register
Model riskA risk on a modelThat model
Vendor riskA risk on a vendorVendor Management
FrameworkA standard or regulationFrameworks

Each card shows the name, a status badge, the owner when known, and gap markers when something is missing.

What the lines mean

LineMeaning
SolidA real link you recorded (for example a model on a use case, or a framework on a use case).
Dotted (moving)A hint — currently “this model and vendor share a use case”. Treat it as a suggestion, not a saved relationship.

Hover a card to highlight everything connected to it.

Toolbar

ControlWhat it does
Use case selectorAll use cases, or focus on one.
Search by nameFilter cards by name.
Status / Owner / FrameworkNarrow the map.
Show inferred linksTurn dotted hints on or off (on by default). In focus mode they stay on.
ResetClear filters and return to all use cases.

A short summary near the title shows how many entities, links, and gaps are in the current view.

Focus on one use case

Pick a use case to see only that use case’s models, vendors, risks, and frameworks — not sibling use cases that share a model.

Choose All use cases (or Reset) for the full map.

Gaps detected

The Gaps detected panel lists missing pieces. Cards with gaps are marked on the map. Typical gaps:

  • Use case without mapped risks
  • Use case without linked models
  • Use case without a framework
  • Model without an approved vendor
  • Model or vendor without assessed risks

Click a gap to open the record and fix it.

For very large workspaces, the full map may hide some model-risk and vendor-risk cards to stay readable. Focus on one use case to see that chain in full.
