Pending approvals

Pending Approvals is the queue of approval requests tied to AI use cases: title, project, type, who requested it, who it is assigned to, due date, and status.

This page is not in the left sidebar. Open it from Approvals in the top bar (pending items and your submissions), or from the Dashboard attention row when approvals are waiting.

What a request is

Each request belongs to one use case and has:

  • Title and optional description
  • Type: Project Review, Risk Review, Compliance Review, or Policy Review
  • Status: Pending, Approved, Rejected, or Cancelled
  • Requested by, assigned to (or Unassigned), optional due date

All pendingPending items you are allowed to see (Admins see all; other roles see items assigned to them or unassigned).

Filter by type. Click a row to open the request.

Columns: Title, Project, Type, Requested by, Assigned to, Due date, Status. Overdue pending dates show in red.

Empty: No pending approvals.

Approve or reject

When you open a request you see type, status, description, people, project, and due date.

Approve and Reject appear only if:

  • Your role is Reviewer or Admin
  • Status is Pending
  • You are not the person who requested it (you cannot approve your own request)

Approve confirms immediately. Reject asks for a reason.

You can also add comments.

Header: Approval requests

The top-bar Approvals panel has:

  • Pending my approval
  • My submissions (requests you created)

Approve and reject follow the same rules as on the full page.
